HOW TO DIVIDE TWO YEARS FOR PREPARING FOR CLAT
Divide the two years into concept clearing, revision, and practice time, and then go ahead with it. Allot the first six months to get your basics clear and apply the facts along with regular academic classes. The next year can be devoted to hardcore revision followed by practice with online mock tests and last year’s question papers to test yourself.
WHAT TOPIC TO COVER FIRST?
Prioritizing the topic is very essential. Start with the topic which you dread the most and move further with easier ones. Get your doubts cleared continuously and don’t leave anything for the later stages.
HOW DO OVERCOME FEAR?
You might be having a fear of any particular subject or topic. Release your fear by overcoming it by thoroughly studying it in the initial stages itself. Understanding the topics will instill more confidence in you.
PREPARING FOR GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
General Knowledge is a vast ocean. One cannot cover everything and complete it. For preparing for General Knowledge, keep yourself abreast with the current affairs of the past year while learning the static portions. Current Affairs take up a large portion of the exam. While preparing, make notes of every national and international event which will help you to keep track, and the chances of leaving a concept will be below. Keep revising your notes regularly.
PREPARING FOR LEGAL APTITUDE
Legal Aptitude can also be a hurdle for many as this aspect is not taught in the senior classes. The objective of this section in the CLAT Entrance Exam is to know the interest of aspirants in the study of law. Practice this section by thoroughly studying last year's papers and solving them.
SUMMARISING STRATEGY
Keep your strategy simple. Don’t forget that with the preparation, you have regular school classes and also have to prepare for the 12th Board exams. Be consistent and religiously devote some hours daily for the preparation to keep an edge ahead of others
